• Altar II: H. Thunderbolt

Altar is an ongoing series pairing one visual/installation artist and one performance based artist for a large-scale immersive environment based experience.

    Altar II: H. Thunderbolt

Warm glowing clouds hover in place, producing thunderbolts sensitive to sound. Anything from gentle conversation to chainsaw orchestras will ignite the space with loving, breathing lightning. Hephaestus will be working overtime.

Altar II: H Thunderbolt is a performance inside a sonically interactive light sculpture by Cole Bee Wilson based on the life and times of the ancient Carthaginian General Hannibal Barca and his role in the second Punic War.
